As we all know that Microsoft has finally released the most awaited and the latest Windows OS, Windows 11 (2021) but this new Microsoft Windows OS has also brought significant questions related to eligibility and compatibility. For ex. most of the users wondering that either their PCs are compatible to install/upgrade for Windows 11 or not. Although, such questions are not at the first time rather came earlier regarding Microsoft’s prior OS, years ago. But this time, the problem seems no big as experts assert that Windows 11 has been designed with normal compatibility requirements and able to run on most of the PCs. Although the new Windows has been finally released and ready to be upgrade on compatible devices, however, Microsoft has cleared that the users might have to wait further, say until mid-2022 in order to download and install Windows 11.
Interestingly or say annoyingly, the PC Health Check
like tools that Microsoft itself has been designed to determine the device compatibility
were not par during the announcement of Windows 11 to satisfy the users
regarding compatibility and eligibility requirements. In addition, it is also
claimed by the experts that the company intentionally downed PC Health Check
app temporarily.
But don’t worry!!! The app has been restored now with fixes and
is ready to help the users for Microsoft upgraded OS, Windows 11. Also, the app
will help you meet with requirements providing enough support and information
regarding compatibility.
Moreover, the users shouldn’t worry about to know the
eligibility requirements because there several alternatives to PC Health Check
have been introduced in the market by other developers other than Microsoft to
provide enough information regarding for free running Windows 11 update on
their PCs such as WhyNotWin11, Can I Run Windows 11, Win11SysCheck, ReadySunValley
etc.
However, it is recommended to use Microsoft’s own program,
PC Health Check (specifically designed for such purposes).
Here's the list of system requirements for Windows 11.

Step 1: Download PC Health Check app from the Microsoft’s
website.
Step 2: Run the file agreeing to the terms of service
and Install, then Launch.
Step 3: Find Introducing Windows 11 at the top in the
app and click Check Now.
This will tell whether your PC is compatible or not. The message will be look like
This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements
if it doesn’t lie as per the requirements. Otherwise, if fortunately, your device is eligible for Windows 11, you will be able to download the new Windows 11 update quickly.
Note: Though Microsoft planned October 5, 2021 as an
official release date of Windows 11, there is some news regarding staggered
rollout of the plan that may delay the upgradation of many devices until further
notification or say mid-2022, sources added.
#2: Alternatives to PC Health Check app
- WhyNotWin11
- Can I Run Windows 11
- Win11SysCheck
- ReadySunValley
Instead of Microsoft’s PC Health Check app, if the
user relies on an alternative, the WhyNotWin11 developed by GitHub is being considered the
best one. It is an open source and a free product. Although it is not a competitive to ‘PC Health Check’ as it has less
friendly interface and not affiliated with Microsoft, however, it helps provide
enough details regarding eligibility requirements as well as various potential
compatibility issues.
Other tools include Can I Run Windows 11 (Free), Win11SysCheck (Free,
Open Source), ReadySunValley (Free, Open Source) and so on. Can
I Run Windows 11 is a free, easy to use and simplest compatibility
checker tool that asks no more steps and quickly runs to determine launching
the app. The Win11SysCheck (developed by mq1n) and ReadySunValley
(developed by Builtbybel) compatibility checkers are also being downloaded as
available for free in public domain.
Remember if your device doesn't meet eligibility
requirements, you may need to replace your PC in the upcoming years, most
probably by 2025 as Microsoft is planning to phase out Windows 10 over
the next few years.
